Free Bread Sticks, Lil Bub, and Songs of The Sea!
Dear Folks and Friends,
It has been a while since you last heard from me. Does absence make your heart grow fonder? Hope so! Anyway, now that school is back in session AND I’m on the fast road to recovery after an awful oral surgery, I’m Back For The Attack! (Sorry! Pardon the Dokken reference! I’m a child of the ‘80’s!).
Here’s my news. First of all, Kid Kazooey & The BallRoom Roustabouts are LOVING The Palace Theatre in Nashville, Indiana!
Red Velvet seats, Chandeliers hanging from the ceiling, great stage, great sound, and exciting light show; I’m telling you, you’ve never seen The Kid and his cohorts in a more perfect setting! Now is your chance! Go to our facebook page and print out a coupon for one free adult admission! Also, save your ticket stub for the show and head on over to Big Woods Pizza Co. there in Nashville. Your ticket stub is now worth one free order of Bread Sticks!
So, whether it is enjoying an afternoon hike in Brown County State Park, catching an evening show with Carrie Newcomer at The Brown County Playhouse (This Saturday at 7pm!), or shopping for your favorite arts and crafts, you can add Kid Kazooey’s show at The Palace Theatre as a good excuse for you to take a day trip to Nashville, IN!
My next bit of news regards The Worlds Most Famous Cat, Lil Bub! Perhaps you saw Lil Bub on Good Morning America earlier this month? Well, Lil Bub’s human caregiver is a buddy of mine and has entered the world of Internet Cat Videos! Wow! Weird! But Lil Bub is truly a unique and awesome cat, and I was moved to write a song for her and you! Listen to the song on my Bandcamp site here, and find out more about Lil Bub the cat at her site here!
News piece #3! The Pirate Flags are finishing up their new CD, Songs of The Seas! Words can not convey accurately enough how proud I am of this recording! There are 12 tracks. Most of them are traditional (stuff like Blow The Man Down), some are taken from poems of the sea that yours truly set to music, and there’s even one original tune (written by lead singer, Deke Hager). All the tunes ROCK! You can hear us perform songs from the CD on Sept. 15 at The Farmer’s Market.
Check out more dates below, and I hope to see you at some shows and we’ll get silly and dance around to goofy, original, and upbeat music for the young at heart!
Lovin’ every minute of it,
Kid Kazooey
